About
Wildd xStream Sonos Controller is a channel on the Roku digital video player that allows you to control the playback of your Sonos speakers and audio components.

Overview
- S1 and S2 compatible.
- Select your audio source from your Sonos Favorites, Playlists, or Line-In.
- Change volume settings for groups or individual players.
- Mute/Un-Mute volume.
- Pause/Play the audio.
- Seek to a particular location within the audio.
- Select Play Modes Shuffle, Repeat, Repeat Current, and Crossfade.
- Select the rooms to control.
- Group rooms to play the same audio in multiple rooms.
- Ungroup rooms to play different audio in different rooms.
Remote Key Functions
Star (Options):
- Opens the Main Menu.
- If the Main Menu is already open, closes the Main Menu and returns to the Home location.
OK:
- When at the Home location, toggles Mute on and off for the current room/group.
- When on a volume group or player, toggles Mute on and off for that group or player.
- When at the Main Menu, selects the focused menu option.
- When at the Room window, if the room has multiple players, takes you to the Volume control window, otherwise toggles Mute on and off.
- When on a menu selection option (Done, Cancel), selects that option.
- When on the Select Audio screen, selects the currently focused audio source/selection.
- When on the Volume control window, toggles Mute on and off for the player or group currently focused.
Left/Right Arrows:
- When at the Home location, changes the volume for the current room/group lower or higher.
- When at the Room window, if the room has multiple players, takes you to the Volume control window where you can change the volume of the group or individual players, otherwise changes the volume for the room lower or higher.
- When in Seek mode, seeks backward 10 seconds, or forward 10 seconds. Note: When using the seek function it is recommended to pause the audio first.
- When on the Select Audio screen, moves focus to the previous or next selection within the current source.
- When on the Volume control window, changes the volume for the currently focused player or group lower or higher.
Up/Down Arrows:
- When at the Home location, the Up Arrow takes you to the Room window, and the Down Arrow takes you to the Play Mode window.
- When on the Main Menu, a sub menu, the Rooms window, or the Volume window, moves focus up, or down.
- When on the Select Audio screen, moves focus to the previous, or next audio source.
- When on the Play Mode window, the Up Arrow takes you to the Home location.
Back:
- Returns to the previous location.
Play/Pause:
- If audio is currently playing, pauses the audio.
- If audio is currently paused, starts the audio.
Skip Back/Skip Forward:
- When at the Home location, skips backward to the previous audio selection, or skips forward to the next audio selection.
- Note: Some audio sources do not support skip forward or skip backward.
Main Menu Options
- Select Audio – Select the audio you want to play from your Favorites, Playlists, or Line-In.
- Rooms – Select the room you want to control.
- Player Volume – Change the volume of the current room or group of rooms, and any individual player in the group.
- Group Rooms – Create or change a group of rooms. The currently playing audio will play on all players in the group.
- Play Modes – Select Shuffle, Repeat, Repeat Current, or Crossfade play modes. Some options may not be available based on the audio source.
- Seek – Seek forward or backward within the currently playing audio.
- Screensaver – If you have a Roku screensaver enabled, choose whether the screensaver is active or inactive during the Sonos session. If a screensaver runs for two hours without interruption, the Sonos controller will exit to the Roku home screen, but any playing audio will continue to play. If there is no active screensaver, the Sonos controller session will run continuously until manually exited.
- Account – Re-link your Sonos account, or link a different account.
- Exit – Exit from the Sonos controller. This does not change any currently playing audio. Any audio currently playing will continue to play.
Getting Started
- If you haven’t already done so, set up your Sonos system using the Sonos setup procedures.
- Also, if you haven’t already done so, set up your favorites and/or playlists using the Sonos mobile or desktop app.
- If you haven’t added the Wildd xStream Sonos Controller to your Roku, search for “Sonos Controller” from the Roku Home screen, and add it to your Roku.
- Start Wildd xStream Sonos Controller from the Roku main menu.
- The first time using the Sonos controller, you will be prompted to give permission to access your Sonos system. Follow the on-screen instructions to give the Sonos controller authorization to your system.
- Once authorization has been granted, the main Sonos controller screen will appear.
- Any previous or currently playing audio on your Sonos system will appear on the screen.
- Use the remote keys and menu options described above to navigate through the system.
- From the main menu (remote key *), you can select the room you want to control, or group rooms together. Use the Select Audio option to select a favorite, playlist, or line-in source.
- Use the remote keys to control volume, mute, pause/play, seek, and to set play modes.
